Climbing the Dom Tower is a wonderful opportunity to view the city of Utrecht in an entirely different way! Via 465 steps (there is no lift) a guide will take you to the top of the highest church tower in the Netherlands. The tower can only be visited as part of a guided tour, during which the expert guides will take you on a historical journey through all the rooms and galleries.

From Rietveld to the Utrecht Caravaggists, from Dick Bruna to Moesman and from Viktor & Rolf to the centuries-old Utrecht ship. A special part of the Central Museum is the studio of Dick Bruna, one of the Netherlands’ most famous illustrators and graphic designers. You might know him as the creator of Nijntje a.k.a Miffy. For the last 30 years of his career, he worked at his studio in the centre of Utrecht on a daily basis. In this part of the museum you will see his personal memories.
