It is easily accessible by either car or public transport. A weekend in Eindhoven gives you just enough time to experience all the best of the city. Get inspired for your city trip with our weekend in Eindhoven.
Start off your weekend with an exceptional dinner in Brasserie Lumen. Enjoy an Inntel Hotels original dish or one of the local specialties.
After a relaxing dinner enjoy a signature cocktail at the bar. Will you go for one of the gin & tonics or are you going to pick a classic cocktail like the Cosmpolitan? Our bartender is happy to help you make the perfect choice.
Did you book a room with a spa bath? Time to start those bubbles. Afterward, enjoy a well-earned rest in the comfortable bed which makes you feel like you’re sleeping on a cloud.
Start your day with breakfast and bubbles at the restaurant. Freshly baked croissants, hot coffee, and an egg cooked or baked to your liking. It’s finally time to explore the city of Eindhoven!
In only 10 minutes you’ll find yourself at Eindhoven’s Design District Strijp-S. Which was known as ‘the forbidden city’ since the area was only accessible to Philips’ employees. Almost 10 years ago, buildings were demolished, renovated or rebuilt in order to create a brand new, cultural platform. Young and upcoming companies found their way into Strijp-S and fuelled the area with innovative and artistic projects. And we didn’t even mention the cool cafés and restaurants yet!
When you’re hungry head to ‘De Markt’ for the nicest lunch places. Formerly, De Markt was an important place for trade. Nowadays, terraces dominate the square. Other streets to go: De Kerkstraat, Wilhelminaplein or De Kleine Berg.
After a hearty lunch, it’s time to move on! For some shopping, head to De Demer and De Rechtestraat. Here you’ll find the biggest (department) stores. Looking for something that is a bit more unique? Visit the little boutiques at De Bergen. If it’s raining, shopping malls Heuvelgalerie and Piazza Centre are located at just 3 minutes distance from the hotel. If you feel like doing something that’s a little bit more cultural visit the famous Van Abbemuseum. The exhibits are mostly modern art from artists such as Picasso, Mondriaan and Appel. For more cultural inspiration check out our museum special.
There are so many restaurants to choose from in Eindhoven. Whether you feel like eating sushi, tapas, Mexican, French, Asian or a big juicy steak. The possibilities are endless. As local specialists our front desk staff are happy to give you recommendations on where to eat. After a delicious dinner entertainment can be found at Parktheater or De Effenaar. The Parktheater offers various shows consisting of opera, comedy, or music theatre. And venue De Effenaar offers a broad range of music concerts. Not only Dutch artists, but also famous artists. Pop music or even heavy metal. De Effenaar has it all!
The night is young and there’s still plenty to do if you’re not tired. Visit the most popular entertainment area of Eindhoven; Stratumseind. A street filled with bars, restaurants and cafés. And Inntel Hotels Art Eindhoven is just around the corner. Your bed is only 10 minutes away.
We hope you had a pleasant night. Time for another visit to the breakfast buffet. Will you choose the same items or are you going to pick something different? Plenty of choices. After an extensive breakfast, it’s time to head the city. Rent a hotel bike and start exploring the most beautiful and intriguing places of Eindhoven. There are many special bicycle routes with lots of beautiful artworks.
Lunchtime! Best place to go is the Stadswandelpark. Bring a picnic box or have lunch at restaurant ‘Park en Pluche’. The park also offers amazing statues and national monuments. The river, volière and flower beds make it a beautiful piece of nature within a bustling city.
In case you can’t have enough of the outside activities, take a kano tour on the Dommel. This river winds from the Belgian Peer towards Den Bosch. In short, it’s the best way to explore the Kempische surroundings.
The weekend is over…. enjoy a final drink at the hotel bar before you pick up your luggage. See you next time!
