Got a big hungry? Head to ‘De Markt’ for the nicest lunch places. Formerly, De Markt was an important place for trade. Nowadays, terraces dominate the cosy square. Other streets to go: De Kerkstraat, Wilhelminaplein or De Kleine Berg.
After a good lunch, your fuelled again and its’s time to move on! For some shopping, head to De Demer and De Rechtestraat. Over here you’ll find the biggest (department) stores. Looking for something more unique? Bring a visit to the little boutiques at De Bergen. When raining, go for the shopping malls Heuvelgalerie or Piazza Centre, just 3 minutes away from the hotel. Looking for something more cultural? Visit the famous Van Abbemuseum. Exhibiting mostly modern art from artists such as Picasso, Mondriaan and Appel. Besides modern art, Eindhoven has the Eindhoven Museum, where constructions of villages from the Medieval Period are exposed. And when you’re a true car lover, a visit to the DAF Museum is an absolute must, exposing more than 120 authentic vehicles.

Rent a hotel bike and start exploring the most beautiful and intriguing places of Eindhoven. Choose a length of for instance 20km or 75km and find out the gems of the area!
Lunch time! Best place to go is the Stadswandelpark. Bring your picnic box or have lunch at restaurant ‘Park en Pluche’. The park also offers amazing statues and national monuments. The river, volière and flower beds make it a beautiful piece of nature within a bustling city.
In case you can’t have enough of the outside activities, take a kano tour on the Dommel. This river winds from the Belgian Peer towards Den Bosch. In short, it’s the best way to explore the Kempische surroundings.
