Inntel Hotels Landmark Amsterdam officially concluded its purchase agreement with Oostenburg SGN on February 15th, 2017. A land plot within the Oostenburg area of Amsterdam is to be developed and transformed into a luxurious 4-star hotel consisting of ±300 rooms, some equipped with a sauna and/or whirlpool. On the ground floor, located at the VOC-kade, a specialty restaurant can be found focusing just as much on hotel guests as on residents. The first and second-floor offer meeting rooms and a wellness area including swimming pool.

The building’s design refers to the location’s rich industrial past and is meant as a landmark for its surroundings. Inntel Hotels Landmark Amsterdam is, therefore, a suitable name for the luxury hotel. According to plan, construction will begin in the early months of 2018 and the hotel will open its doors in the course of  October 2020.  Karin Geurts, director of Inntel Hotels, is proud to announce the new acquisition which will – after completion –  be the hotel chain’s second hotel in Amsterdam centre.

Both Inntel Hotels and Introvast participate in Inntel Hotels Landmark Amsterdam. After completion, this hotel can be added to Inntel Hotels portfolio which sums up 8 hotels in total. Oostenburg SGN is a subsidiary of Stichting Stadgenoot. In 2008 Stadgenoot acquired the development site Oostenburg from construction company Heijmans. Heijmans obligated that the land plot would be offered to Introvast, in order to develop a brand-new hotel.
