The tasting room of Brouwerij ‘t IJ is located, just like the brewery itself, in the former bathhouse under a authentic windmill. Enjoy their selection close to its birthplace on the terrace as ost of the brewery’s beers are available on tap here. The Hembrug site, part of the harbour district in Zaandam, is a monumental industrial estate. The terrain has a rich history as a location for the production of firearms, artillery and ammunition. In 2003, the doors of the production site were closed and nature took over. Since 2014, the terrain is open to the public again and various entrepreneurs work in the renovated buildings with an industrial appearance.
