Only a few more days and then the party starts in Amsterdam. From the 16th to 20th of October 2019, the city can literally be called the world’s largest dance floor. For the 24th edition of Amsterdam Dance Event, around 2,500 national and international artists will visit the city. About 140 prominent and “secret spot” locations will also open their doors to more than 400 events related to electronic music, film, conferences, art and other pop-up programs.
DJ’s
The Amsterdam Dance Event, or mostly known as ‘ADE’, is so popular that it makes Amsterdam one of the most visited, but also one of the most inspiring, club cities in the world. 140,000 visitors came to the event last year. This year there will once again be great artists such as Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, David Guetta, Hardwell, and Martin Garrix. But there is also a lot of room for young and up-and-coming talent. Keep your eyes and ears open Ares Carter, John Johnson, Stenny, and Unnik.
Tomorrowland
ADE collaborates with many DJ’s, clubs and other locations. In addition to this, this year the Belgian festive Tomorrowland and ADE have joined forces to celebrate Tomorrowland’s fifteen-year anniversary well. Many famous DJs perform their ultimate Tomorrowland tracks under the guidance of the Amsterdam Metropole Orchestra. Be quick if you want to enjoy this because all the regular tickets are already sold out.
Party till you drop
If you are not the type that loves partying all night long and wants to go to bed on time, you can also visit De Microclub on Saturday. Here you can party on Saturday, October 19 from 8 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
