Amsterdam City Centre
It’s no secret that the centre of Amsterdam has countless terraces. The many languages spoken there, the great variety of people passing by and the beautiful buildings make Amsterdam a true terrace city.
Near Central Station there are several terraces that are located on the water. One of the best is Loetje; here you can enjoy the best steak and other dishes, while overlooking the passing canal boats.
Located in the centre, but still want to eat in peace? This is possible at Lion Noir. The garden of the beautiful building is a lovely place to be. If it is not so hot, sitting inside is also an excellent alternative; the interior is quite special.

Rotterdam

With more than 35 different dishes, there is bound to be something tasty for you. With the large terrace on the boulevard, you can watch people passing by.
Do you prefer to sit on the Pier? You will probably be hungry after that long walk. At Beach Burgers & Beers you overlook the surfers next to the Pier, while you have a delicious burger on your plate. A nice special beer is a must when eating a burger. Utrecht
The city of the Dom Tower, the canals and many courtyards… In Utrecht, you don’t have to search long for a nice terrace. On a square in the heart of the city you’ll find Hofman Café. This location is perfect to enjoy a drink with your friends on the large terrace. The menu has a large variety of dishes and drinks, including the Dutch ribeye and the home-brewed blond beer.

A slightly smaller terrace, but certainly not less cosy, can be found at STAN. If you stay at Inntel Hotels Utrecht Centre, it will only take you 10 minutes to walk to this modern, atmospheric restaurant. The kitchen mainly uses seasonal products from all over the world and offers a lot of plant-based food. You can also try one of the wines, unique cocktails or craft beers.
If you prefer peace and silence, SOIA (Strand Oog in al) is the perfect place for lunch, dinner or drinks. The restaurant is located on a city beach, so especially in the summer it is a lovely place to be. In the centre of the city that is known for Verkade, Albert Heijn and the photogenic buildings, you will find Café-Restaurant de Koperen Bel. One of the oldest cafés in Zaandam (with a terrace!) where you enjoy classic dishes in a modern setting such as tenderloin or spare ribs.
A little further from the centre, on the Hembrug site, is Lab-44. A restaurant with a cool looking architecture, where you can sit comfortably, especially in the summer. The terrace is enormous and it is also cosy inside if it is a bit chilly. If you’re here, it is a good idea to also visit HEM, an art museum in an old ball factory.
Amsterdam Oostenburg
