In 2021 Inntel Hotels will open a second 4-star hotel in Amsterdam. This modern wellness hotel is situated on Oostenburg island near various sights. We’re happy to give you a behind the scenes look at our newest hotel. What is it that makes this new addition so special? Spa Steam, the wellness club of Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Landmark. The name refers to the steam engines that were built here by Werkspoor. Let steam revitalise you the way it used to give machines its power. Spa Steam can be found on the second floor and is equipped with a pool, sauna, steam room, treatment room and an outside terrace. The wellness experience can be expanded with various beauty treatments and massages.
The industrial design of the hotel
The history and future of Oostenburg island was the inspiration for the design of the hotel. This island used to be the location for Werkspoor. In this Dutch machine factories they build (ships) steam engines, engines and rolling stock. Concrete and massive metal columns play a big role in the industrial design of the hotel. You will even see a life-size yellow crane cab in the lobby.
Bar & Brasserie Werkspoor
The restaurant Bar & Brasserie Werkspoor is the hotspot for guests and locals alike. Prepare to be amazed by the massive metal structures, original Heineken beer kegs and the glass roof. The enormous windows will give you a unique view of Amsterdam. Or take a seat by the water on the outside terrace. You’re welcome all day long for breakfast, lunch, dinner or drinks. On the menu you will find Inntel Originals and local specials. Did the decoration make you long for a cold glass of beer? Try one of the locally brewed speciality beers.

Due to custom interior design the theme is implemented in even the smallest details. The 306 luxury rooms give you a glimpse of Amsterdam’s history in a modern jacket with pictures of famous ships, steam engines and more. The view from the windows or balconies is over the train tracks, city or water. Our signature luxury rooms with wellness facilities can also be found at Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Landmark. Relax in the iconic round whirlpool and in your private sauna.
